ARTICLES
The purpose of this section is provide a place for announcements of new publications of interest to the morphometrics community. It is not intended to be a comprehensive bibliography, but rather an aid to morphometrians to help keep them informed about relevant publications in journals and fields they might not survey on a regular basis. Links to bibliographies and other databases can be found under "Bibliography" at the Stony Brook site.

To submit a publication for posting, send an email to morphmet_moderator@morphometrics.org with the subject, "New Publication." Include a complete citation including page numbers (already published articles only) in the journal format of your choice, and, if appropriate, add the line "Reprints available by request from 'your_email_address'."

Criteria for inclusion are the same as for the ONLINE REPRINTS section, except submissions from other than the author of an article will be accepted. Underlined citations are links to articles made freely available online.

ONLINE REPRINTS
The following are links to reprints of papers of interest to morphometricians. Suitable submissions include papers on the theory and application of morphometric methods broadly defined. Also acceptable are reviews, evaluations, etc. of data collection equipment and modalities and associated data processing software.

Published arguments and debates on the technical merits of morphometrics are also welcomed if they focus on the technical merits of the analysis, e.g., the (in)appropriateness of gap-coded morphometric variables to cladistic analysis is okay, the (in)appropriateness of morphometrics in light of special creation is not.

Only links submitted by one of the authors of a paper will be accepted. Submissions should be made to morphmet_moderator@morphometrics.org and include:

1) an internet link to a .pdf format file

2) a reference for the paper in an acceptable journal (your choice) format

Links to relevant archives of specific authors will also be accepted, but not general personal collections of reprints by others. Please include descriptive text when submitting links to such archives.

The distribution of reprints by authors for scholarly, research, and educational purposes seems to be considered "fair use", but still, copyright issues are solely the concern of the person submitting the link.
